Now that I finally have my vehicle relocated at a far more reputable and honorable shop (Hollywood Finishes in Keller), I feel able to write a final review on this trash company. Avondale intentionally took advantage of a 100% disabled veteran family that was in a rear end collision with their 1 year old in the car, caused by the negligence of a companies employee texting and driving. Does anyone there reply to emails in a timely manner? I requested new service tech because the first one wasn't replying now the replacement isn't replying. I realize I can call, but it is very frustrating that they won't reply to a simple email.

I don't usually do reviews and after working for a very reputable North Texas law firm for 17yrs in the capacity of an adjuster/investigator I haven't had any issues with any facility until this place. Rude - entitled handler made a mistake decides to take the high tone with me. Even at that I wouldn't have written this review yet when I approached the manager - did not apologize and backed up his rude staff who made the mistake to begin with. Shop does excellent work, but can take an extraordinarily long time to complete the job. This was my third repair here. First two repairs took longer than expected but not too bad. This time a $5000 modest repair on my Lexus took almost 7 full weeks to complete. You read that right. 7 weeks! Caused me grief with insurance company providing rental car. My service rep Lisa Spoons did a very poor job communicating with me and the insurer paying for the repair. Promised to look into matter for weeks - but never did. Did not actu... read more

I bought my car from Lexus Parkplace and happy with their service . I thought Parkplace bodywerks should have the same service quality as Lexus Parkplace. but I am totally wrong! as others said "Slow, expensive and they don't care if it is right. " Three time estimate and waiting for insurance approval, the estimate start from $10000 ,finally my car repairing cost almost went up to $20000 and took 6 weeks to finish all works. Been a Lexus customer for a while now and have always had great service at their sales and service department. I cant say the same for their Body shop department. I have not been in a wreck in 20 plus yrs and I was very concerned about the process. Raul Romero was our contact person let me say he needs to work on his communication and customer service skills. Check your interior if you have work done here! They throw the damaged exterior parts inside your car with absolutely no protection to the interior leather. My interior was extremely damaged and they offered no apology or solution. It took several months to complete repair. It was returned with no battery charge on a brand new battery and expired registration with no notification.

In short: terrible service, slow repairing time, multiple cars got theft incident and broken into DURING the repair process in their parking garage, without even a "sorry" said. Had a collision on February and after my insurance inspection I took my car to this place - hoping it was certified by Mercedes so the repair must be OK. However it took one entire month to fix the car, and the advisor showed very passive attitude on communicating the progress after I sent emails and messages for multiple times. I had a rear windshield shatter and needed a replacement glass. Of course the Insurance Co wanted me to use one of their facilities. It's a convertible, so I fought hard to get Lexus to make the repair which the insurance company agreed to. I called PP Bodywerks first thing Monday to get it lined up. Left message for an estimator. No return call all day. I finally called back before closing and got a price of $1100. I than got a second call back and got a quote of $650.
