Service & agreement on car to buy went fast & well; however, as we were waiting for the financial department, it took over 45 minutes of waiting, and then only were met after talking to the manager. Somewhere, the ball was dropped and no one asked if we needed help, without going to the manager first. Also I brought the car in for service the next week, appt made by Jonathan, and then he wasn't even there when I arrived, appt was for 10:00, he got there at 10:15. There are quite a few grievances I have had with my overall experience at your dealership. Below I list some of my main complaints: First, on the day that my husband and I signed our lease contract, we were told that our desired model was not available and thus we returned home with no car. disorganized dealership, salesman had no patience to explain vehicle to me in test drive and then when i took delivery of the vehicle, he didn't have time to explain the vehicles features to me. Took vehicle in for service (that was promised as a condition of the sale) and they lost the key. Only after talking to sales manager Matt McPherson was I able to get the service you would come to expect from a Mercedes Benz dealer. They also made un-authorized charges to my credit card. I came in for service to Park Place Bedford while undergoing cancer treatment - I was stage 3 C - and had just left my oncologists and had had radiation and was literally wesring the chemo pack and was very sick but I needed my Mercedes G 500 worked on. I live in Keller, TX & my cancer treatment is at Baylor Irving so PPB is on the way home. I am a single mother with a 10 year old at the time. My car has electrical problems that have had it in the shop for most of the past three months. The warranty has almost expired. First I was told that by Mike Garthoff that Mercedes would continue to honor the warranty since with respect to these electrical problems, but that they would not put it in writing (I couldn't get Mercedes to speak to me directly). I asked why it took 51 miles on my car to check out the volume control on my slk350, the answer was "well, we have to drive a long way to make sure that it was working correctly, and it was a 36 miles or so roundtrip." O.K. so what happened to the additional 15 miles? Oh , I don't know anything about that" answered by the service manager. Two huges scratches on the back wheels from this service. Park Place Midcities is ABSOLUTELY the WORST MB dealership in DFW and possibly the world. I have an SLK and ML320 from them and had an C230 sportcoupe on order. First, my original ML320 engine had difficulties and the car was bought back by MB after 1 month. Then as I was picking up the second ML320 from one of it's many services (and just returned the Toyota camry loan car) when I went to trade the ML320 in for a ML430, while crusing the parking lot, I accidentally ran (at 4 mph) into a parking median and dented the passes... read more
