Horrible experience, disaster and wreck of a car dealership. We put a $2,500 deposit down on a new Atlas. It was in the showroom and had a couple scratches on the bumper. No biggie, but we wanted them fixed. We put the deposit down on a Thursday and they explained their body work person works Thursdays, so it wouldn’t be done until next Thursday. Pressure tactics Forget about buying a car from this dealership! Old fashioned pressure tactics caused me to lose a lot of money! in the end after two cars, I not only lost $4,500 in cash, but, the 6,500. Trade in value of my old Tiguan! Being retired, this was a massive loss!
Buy Your Car Elsewhere FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY YOUR CAR! We purchased a used car from NoHo VW several weeks ago. We live in New York and were happy to solidify most of the details over the phone before we came in. My experience after buying the car has not been a good one. Dissapointing Service Very disappointing experience buying a used car from Northampton Volkswagen. Their version of fixing a broken bumper was duct taping it together and the interior fan sounded like a jet engine. When I asked them to fix it, they said it sounded fine. Turns out the wrong cabin filter was installed as my mechanic noted right away. Finally, they replaced a broken fender liner only to have it fall off a week later, so clearly hadn't used the proper fasteners, and refused to stand by their repair. Sales associ... read more

Pressure to buy!! First mistake, going in to look at a used Tuguan, by myself (female). Apparently, I was unfortunate enough to get, what I later found out to be "The Bulldog". After waiting several hours, just to get the paperwork together, I was ready to sign anything just to get out of there. (I am sure that was part of the ploy). Disorganized and disrespectful Drove 45 minutes to test drive a car that I had scheduled to see but both times the car was unavailable. When I was understandably frustrated because of this lack of communication Greg was disrespectful and chastised me for attitude. While the original sales person I spoke with was helpful and tried to find a comparable alternative when I asked for the manager's best price he could give me he didn't wish to answer. Dealership needs to get their act together.
New to Me Car I have 2003 Jetta TDI and I absolutely love the car. I was looking for an automatic diesel to make my commute easier and after shopping around I found that Northampton had two TDI Golfs. Not the best I just bought the car 7 weeks ago and got a service message. I have put less than 1000 miles on it! When I called service department to find out what was the deal they said it was because the oil change was over a year old. Seriously? Why would you sell me a car that would need to be serviced right away? There was also 2 recalls that needed to be done.
